The crow is considered an omen of change. In folklore it is said the crow simultaneously sees three fates-- past, present and future. Acknowledging this means understanding that the past cannot be changed. You can only learn from past mistakes. The present is the only true reality, for it is in the "now" that the future is fashioned. To change your thoughts means to change your future.

Recently it seems that I have noticed the presence of crows more often, which is what inspired this painting.
